![]() ![]() ENTIRELY FRICKIN CANCELLED!! They refunded my money and completely washed their hands of me. Finally, I got an email saying my reservation had been cancelled. Then I called back, sat on hold for 20 more minutes, and the phone was disconnected because the call center closed for the night at 8pm. It probably someone else whose shift was about to end and wanted to get off the phone - I used to work at a call center so I know these games - and hung up on me. I got someone on the phone who (as "luck" would have it) couldn't hear me or whatever. No one had called me by 6:30, and then I got an automated email saying my request couldn't be fulfilled. They said they would try, and call back with the results. I said I would take that if that was all, but would rather do earlier in the morning if they could. This so-called "professional" moving company with a supposedly large network called me back around 5pm said they tried but couldn't find anyone else to help me that day but they could get a team to me by 11 am the next day. And I wasn't worried about items picking up a few drops of rain. And I'm not even getting into why they don't move in the rain, even though it was about 6-7 footsteps from my door to the truck at most. By then, the office told me they were going to rebook me. It rained for less than an hour, and only maybe 30 min of steady, moderate rain. By 3:30, the driver was called off, the guy who showed up took off, and the office called me to cancel for the day. At 3:15, the guy from the office called to get my opinion the weather, and then said that he just got a weather alert about lighting and they don't move in the rain. The driver called to say he was going to be a little late. ![]() One guy actually showed up a little early and even started to strategize on how to do it. I should not have to pay for this service! If anything they should come move the rest of my items to the new location because I shouldn't have to pay for this false salesmanship. I couldn't have rescheduled even if I wanted to. This company backed me into a corner and left me with no other option but to use their company. I shouldnt have to pay anything for this service. The truck was over 45 minutes late, and the movers started the clock before the truck even arrived. I am livid and feel cheated because I was lied to twice. I am really in a bind, and I'm incurring extra fees at the apartment complex for staying over the lease term date. The company didn't offer to send someone out or discount my services at all. I still have a $*** hold on my card, and I have to come out of pocket to pay for a second move. So I had to leave the treadmill, and I am still in the process of finding someone to move it to Raleigh. The second issue is that when the movers showed up, they specially stated that the could not move treadmills and that it was the only item that the company does not move! This was during the move and I had to get out of my apartment. I have still have a hold on my card and I couldnt scedule anything else for the upcoming move on Monday. I SPECIALLY ASKED IF THE TOTAL PRICE WOULD BE $*** BEFORE I AGREED TO THE MOVE. On 2/27/21, which is a Saturday, the company held $****** on my debit card because they scheduled me for a 5 hr move, and failed to explain thatb the total cost would be authorized 48 hrs before the move. I was told that a 2hr minimum was required to schedule the service. I wnted a 2hr move in order to get my treadmill and a few other items to Raleigh. I hired this company on about 2/22/21 for services to be completed on 3/1/21. ![]()
